Formula 1 teams are preparing for the inaugural race at the new MadRing circuit in Madrid. Because the MadRing is a new venue, no teams possess prior data on tire behavior or optimal configurations. This lack of familiarity may provide an advantage to mid-field teams like Audi, as top-tier teams cannot rely on historical circuit experience.

Racing Bulls has also shown competitive potential at the track, with drivers reporting impressive performance during practice sessions. However, the team faces technical challenges, including power steering issues for Yuki Tsunoda and a heavy crash by Arvid Lindblad. Additionally, Audi is reportedly contesting the FIA regarding Tsunoda’s previous grid positioning at Monza, which could impact championship points.
