Milan to host Formula 1 2027 season launch event
Formula 1 has announced that Milan will host the official season launch for 2027, an event titled ‘F1 Live Milan’ scheduled for February 18–20, 2027. The three-day program is designed to be a large-scale fan experience, following the model of the 2025 London launch.
The event will feature two primary components: the Milan Fan Festival, offering three days of interactive activities, and ‘F1 The Show’ on February 18. The latter will be a one-night spectacle featuring drivers and team principals from all 11 teams on the grid, alongside live music and entertainment.
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, noted that the choice of Milan highlights Italy’s growing importance to the sport and its deep connection to automotive manufacturing. Giovanni Bozzetti, president of Fondazione Fiera Milano, expressed readiness to collaborate to ensure the event serves as an international showcase for Italian excellence. The event aims to create a ‘Formula One Week’ to engage fans and local territory.
