Formula Ford Festival events held at Brands Hatch

The Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch featured competitive racing across multiple categories, including historic FF1600 machines. In the John Webb Memorial Trophy, Harrison Morrow secured victory in an Ayrton Senna-replica Van Diemen RF81, narrowly defeating Callum Grant’s Merlyn Mk20A after a sustained battle for the lead.

In the Historic Formula Ford final for the Brian Jones Memorial Trophy, Stephen O’Connor won in a Van Diemen RF90, finishing 0.3 seconds ahead of James Clarke. The event saw several interruptions, including red flags and safety car periods due to weather conditions and on-track incidents.

Separately, iRacing has announced its own virtual FF1600 Festival, scheduled for October 30 to November 1, 2026. The digital event will mirror the real-world knockout format, featuring qualifying heats, a last-chance race, and a 30-driver final at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
