Formula Student Alpe Adria 2026 to host 94 engineering teams in Croatia

The Formula Student Alpe Adria 2026 competition is set to take place from August 18 to 23 at the Bugatti Rimac test track in Mičevac, near Velika Gorica. The international event will bring together approximately 94 teams from 24 countries, involving more than 2,500 competitors.

Participants will compete in various disciplines, including 75-meter acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross, and the final Endurance challenge. A notable addition to this year's program is the Driverless Challenge, where students will demonstrate autonomous vehicle systems.

Local teams from Rijeka and Split are also involved, with representatives noting the technical advancements in their vehicles, such as electric powertrains and four-wheel drive systems. The event is supported by the City of Velika Gorica and its Tourist Board.
