Foro Caribe Naranja to examine AI's impact on creativity and industry

The sixth edition of the Foro Caribe Naranja will take place on Tuesday, October 6, in Santo Domingo. Organized by Switch Havas and SIP Group, the event is centered on the theme ‘Human creativity: what AI cannot imagine.’

The forum aims to protect the value of human creativity against the rapid advancement of automated technological tools. It will feature three primary panels focusing on different sectors:

‘Human Banking in the Era of the Algorithm’ will examine how financial institutions, including Banreservas, Banco Popular Dominicano, and Banco BHD, are integrating artificial intelligence while attempting to design experiences that AI cannot replicate.

‘Camera, Action, Algorithm: Reinventing the Audiovisual Industry’ will explore changes in content creation, production, and distribution, featuring leaders from Lantica Studios, Base Camp, and Panamericana.

Finally, the ‘Dominican Orange Ecosystem’ panel will address the challenges of preparing human talent and connecting them to the demands of an evolving labor market.
