Forrestania Resources doubles British Hill gold resource estimate in Western Australia

Forrestania Resources announced a 131 % increase to the mineral resource estimate (MRE) at its British Hill deposit in Western Australia. The JORC‑compliant update puts the resource at 2.62 million tonnes grading 1.50 g/t gold, amounting to 126,290 ounces, with the higher‑confidence indicated portion rising 180 % to 86,080 ounces.

The upgrade is backed by recent drilling of 19 holes (4,765 m) and a 100‑hole reverse‑circulation program using three rigs on site. The company is already trucking ore from British Hill to its Lake Johnston processing plant, 185 km southwest of Kalgoorlie, and plans further metallurgical testing and conceptual mining studies.

Chairman David Geraghty said the resource growth, ongoing drilling success and strong regional infrastructure position British Hill as a key asset in Forrestania’s hub‑and‑spoke strategy, which also includes the recently acquired Edna May project.
