FORTÉ, a provider of communication and collaboration solutions headquartered in Minneapolis, has acquired Vega Global, a major systems integrator in the Asia-Pacific region. The acquisition is intended to expand FORTÉ’s international footprint, particularly within the corporate, educational, and government sectors.

Through this move, FORTÉ adds over 750 professionals to its global team and extends its operations across 22 countries, serving more than 70 major markets. Vega Global’s established presence includes locations such as Hong Kong, Mainland China, India, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Macau, New Zealand, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Steven Medeiros, the former CEO of Vega Global, will transition to the role of CEO of FORTÉ Asia to lead the company’s expanded regional operations. Jeff Stoebner, Chairman and CEO of FORTÉ, stated that the acquisition provides the scale and local expertise necessary to support multinational organizations requiring consistent communication experiences globally.
