Jordan Pensak, Fort Dix corrections officer charged with sexual abuse of inmate
Jordan Pensak, a 27‑year‑old corrections officer at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, has been charged with one count of sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody. Federal prosecutors allege that Pensak engaged in a year‑long sexual relationship with an inmate, repeatedly meeting in an office inside the low‑security facility and using contraband cell phones to exchange explicit messages, photos and videos.
Investigators recovered two contraband phones containing more than 100 illicit images. In a January text, Pensak expressed a pregnancy scare, asking, "I'm three days late for my period… ready to be an uncle?" She appeared before a federal district court in Camden, was released on bail, and faces a potential sentence of up to 15 years if convicted. The case was investigated by the FBI and the Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General.
