FORT Kraków launches career program for Polish military veterans

FORT Kraków, a center established by the AGH University of Science and Technology and the Krakow Technology Park, has launched a pilot edition of the “Trzecia Linia” (Third Line) program. The initiative is designed to support soldiers, veterans, and reservists in transitioning to civilian careers.

The program provides free training, workshops, and mentoring to help participants leverage their military experience within the technology sector, defense industry, and startups. Specifically, the curriculum focuses on dual-use technologies, defense markets, financing, intellectual property protection, and the application of artificial intelligence.

Participants will engage with entrepreneurs and experts to identify roles such as innovation team members, startup mentors, or technical advisors. The sessions, which run until February, aim to help veterans effectively communicate their military competencies to civilian employers during the recruitment process.
