Fort Lauderdale anticipates major restaurant expansion

Fort Lauderdale is preparing for a significant expansion in its dining sector. Falsetto Hospitality is leading a wave of new openings, including the Caviar Club, described by Marc Falsetto as a “retro-glam American steakhouse inspired by the excess and decadence and unapologetic luxury of the 1980s.” The Caviar Club is scheduled for a VIP opening on October 5, with general public reservations beginning October 27. Other upcoming establishments contributing to this seasonal boom include Sweetwaters, Naia, Amal, and Good Night John Boy.

In the existing South Florida market, Truluck’s is highlighting seasonal offerings at its Miami and Fort Lauderdale locations. The restaurant is featuring various seafood dishes for National Lobster Day on September 25, including lobster bisque and blue crab stuffed lobster tails. The establishment also introduced a monthly cocktail, the “TRU Hurricane,” and continues to offer a specialized crab menu.
