Fortaleza defeats Londrina 2-1 to claim second place in Série B

Fortaleza secured a 2-1 away victory against Londrina in the 29th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. The match, held at the Estádio Vitorino Gonçalves Dias, saw Fortaleza take an early lead through an own goal by Londrina's Heron in the first half.

Londrina managed to equalize in the second half through Igor Bahia following a free kick. However, Fortaleza regained the lead in the final minutes of the match when Neris scored a header from a set piece at the 42-minute mark of the second half.

With this win, Fortaleza reaches 51 points, moving into second place in the standings and closely trailing leader Vila Nova, who also has 51 points. Londrina remains in the relegation zone (Z4) in 18th place with 28 points.
