Fortaleza hosts FeARTE theater sketch festival

The second edition of FeARTE – Festival de Esquetes Arte de Viver will take place in Fortaleza, Ceará, from July 15 to 19, 2026. Organized by Grupo Arte de Viver, the event features 21 selected works from various groups, companies, and collectives within Fortaleza and its metropolitan region.

The festival focuses on short scenes, or sketches, to allow artists to experiment with new languages and aesthetics. The competition is divided into three categories: Student, for works from schools and NGOs; Training, for acting courses and workshops; and Main, for professional artists and groups already active in the Ceará theater market.

This initiative aims to create a space for experimentation and stimulate the emergence of new productions and talent. The festival also celebrates the decade-long history of the Centro Cultural – Arte de Viver as a venue for the group.
