Fortaleza hosts various beach and running sports events

Fortaleza is hosting several major sporting events focused on wellness and competition. The second edition of the Circuito Solar Beach Sport will take place from October 16 to 18 at the Aterrinho da Praia de Iracema. This edition expands its program to include the debut of the Circuito Run, a 5km street race, and the Circuito Swim, featuring 200-meter and 800-meter trials. Sand-based sports such as beach volleyball and footvolley will also be held. Registration for this event is free, requiring a donation of 2kg of non-perishable food.

Additionally, the Santander Track&Field Run Series is holding a stage in Fortaleza. The event includes various distances, such as 5km, 10km, and a 21km half marathon, with starts located in the Aldeota neighborhood near Shopping Del Paseo. The circuit aims to promote active lifestyles and community connection through organized urban running.
