Ceará hosts diverse cultural and business events

Various cultural, business, and industry events are taking place across the Ceará region of Brazil.

The Mostra Sesc Cariri de Culturas 2026 has launched in the Cariri region, featuring 319 free activities including theater, cinema, and musical performances across 28 municipalities such as Crato and Juazeiro do Norte. The festival involves over 2,600 artists and includes the inauguration of the Museu Casa do Soldadinho do Araripe.

In the automotive sector, the 19th edition of AUTOP is being held in Fortaleza, expecting to generate approximately R$ 500 million in business with over 500 brands participating. Meanwhile, the construction industry is seeing positive feedback from the 8th Expoconstruir, which coincided with the 22nd Brazilian Congress of Architects.

Other notable gatherings include the Women's Mercosul-EU Forum in Fortaleza, focused on internationalizing businesses led by women, and the BTM 2026 MICE Forum, which will address trends in business tourism for the North and Northeast regions. Additionally, the Aracati Criativo 2026 showcase aims to strengthen local tourism and the creative economy through workshops and artisanal exhibitions.
