FORTEC Power adds MEAN WELL XDR industrial DIN‑rail power supplies

FORTEC Power announced the addition of the MEAN WELL XDR series to its industrial portfolio. The XDR line offers DIN‑rail power supplies ranging from 75 W to 960 W with a wide input voltage span of 85‑305 V AC, high efficiency and extensive protection features, including OVC III transient‑voltage protection and a low inrush current of under 10 A.

The units deliver peak power up to 200 % for five seconds and up to 600 % for brief bursts, supporting demanding motor start‑up and capacitive loads. They operate from –40 °C to +85 °C (up to +60 °C without load derating) and are available with optional parallel operation, Modbus communication, remote ON/OFF control and ORing‑FET diode protection. Certification covers IEC/EN 61558‑1, IEC/EN 61558‑2‑16, IEC/EN UL 61010, IEC/EN 62368, marine (DNV), semiconductor (SEMI F47) and hazardous‑location (Class I Div. 2) standards. The series is sold through FORTEC Power with selectable output voltages of 12 V, 24 V, 36 V and 48 V.
