Fortinet Players Cup to be held at Narita Hills CC

The second edition of the Fortinet Players Cup, organized by the Japan Golf Tour Players Association, is scheduled to take place at Narita Hills Country Club in Chiba. The four-day tournament features 96 players competing for a 30 million yen winner's prize and 525 points toward the season standings.

Themeing the event around strengthening the connection between players and fans, the tournament includes interactive elements such as digital stamp rallies and one-point lesson sessions. The course is noted for its challenging final holes, particularly the 17th and 18th, with the 18th hole having a high average score during the previous year's competition.

In the season points race, Yusaku Hosono holds a significant lead over Hiroshi Iwata. Other notable competitors include Sang-hee Lee, Akuryu Iwasaki, and Yoshinori Fujimoto, all seeking to improve their standings in the final seven matches of the 2026 season. Tournament chairman Taihei Sato, the inaugural winner, will oversee the event.
