Fortitudo Bologna clinches U12 and U15 double at 21st Crocetta Youth Baseball tournament in Parma

The 21st edition of the Torneo Giovanile Crocetta baseball tournament took place over three days at the Centro Sportivo “Ferruccio Bellè” in San Pancrazio, Parma. Twenty teams competed in the Under‑12 and Under‑15 categories.

Fortitudo Bologna dominated both finals, beating Lions Nettuno 7‑2 in the U12 final and defeating the host Crocetta B team 9‑0 in the U15 final, thereby achieving a historic double. Individual awards were handed out, with Leonardo Piretti and Davide Rodriguez named MVPs for the U12 and U15 categories respectively.

The closing ceremony featured speeches from local officials, including a comment from Marco Bosi, Assessore allo Sport: “Tornei come questo sono la linfa vitale per il movimento del baseball di Parma e rappresentano un patrimonio identitario e promozionale inestimabile per tutto il nostro territorio.” The event highlighted the importance of youth baseball for the Parma region.
