Fortitudo Bologna defeats Montecatini in preseason scrimmage

Fortitudo Bologna secured an 83-80 victory in a preseason scrimmage against Montecatini at the PalaTerme. The closed-door match served as a test for the squad following nine days of training.

Barnett led the scoring for Fortitudo with 25 points, including three consecutive three-pointers that helped keep the team competitive during the second quarter. Jamel Morris contributed 18 points for Bologna, while Sarto added 17 and Sorokas scored 15.

Coach Demis Cavina rotated his roster extensively, utilizing 11 players to evaluate the group. Fortitudo played without Mazzola, Fantinelli, and Radonjic, who were unavailable due to injury or precautionary rest.
