Fortix International Security and Safety Exhibition concludes in Damascus

The Fortix International Security and Safety Exhibition recently concluded at the Exhibition City in Damascus, Syria. The event served as a platform for government agencies, institutions, and leading companies to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in emergency management, response, recovery, and civil protection.

Ibrahim Shennan, Director of the Civil Safety and Protection Department at the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management, stated that the ministry intends to leverage the exhibition's outcomes by organizing training programs for Syrian personnel. These programs will be conducted in cooperation with participating international companies through memorandums of understanding aimed at enhancing expertise and knowledge in civil safety.

Several participating companies offered technical and training services based on international standards, such as those from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and European standards (EN). The exhibition also attracted Syrian companies licensed in European and Gulf countries looking to enter the Syrian market, while providing a venue for experts and engineering offices to learn about upcoming government licensing mechanisms and technical standards.
