Fortnite announces major character collaborations for Chapter 7 Season 4

Epic Games has announced a massive wave of character collaborations for Fortnite. The upcoming Chapter 7, Season 4, titled ‘Override’, is scheduled to launch on August 20, 2026.

Teaser footage reveals a wide array of iconic characters and elements joining the game, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Knuckles. Other notable additions include Joker from Persona 5, Mega Man, and Tetris blocks that act as environmental obstacles. The trailer also hints at appearances from Mortal Kombat, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and potentially Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

In addition to the seasonal update, the character Perlica from Arknights: Endfield has been implemented as a playable skin. This specific costume is available for 1,500 V-Bucks or through specific purchase history requirements in the Epic Games Store, with availability lasting until August 22, 2026.
