Fortnite Chapter 7 receives Override Battle Pass and major content update

Epic Games is rolling out significant updates for Fortnite Chapter 7, including the introduction of the Override Battle Pass and the v42.10 content update. The Override Battle Pass features a cyberpunk and futuristic theme, offering 100 levels of rewards such as skins, emotes, and harvesting tools for 950 V-Bucks.

The upcoming v42.10 update, scheduled for release on September 3, 2026, will introduce new Sprites, Match Overrides, enhanced Loot Hacks, and an expanded arsenal. This update also includes the return of several previously vaulted weapons, a strategic move by developers to refresh the game meta and encourage new player strategies.

The global rollout is planned across multiple time zones to ensure simultaneous access for the international player base.
