Fortnite Confirms Sprites for Season 4 and Teases Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, Persona Crossovers

Epic Games announced that the Sprite companions introduced in the current Fortnite season will continue into Season 4, now called Chapter 7 – Season 4 “Override”. A second generation of Sprites will appear with new abilities such as increased ammunition, bee swarms, faster swimming, X‑Ray vision and trash‑can loot. The update will add a “Sprite Garden” showcase and feature five community‑designed Sprite skins selected from over 20,000 submissions.

The company also hinted at a slate of high‑profile video‑game crossovers for the upcoming season, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona, Tetris, Pac‑Man and Kingdom Hearts. Leaked files from Rocket League suggest Kingdom Hearts content will be released as a separate store item rather than part of the Battle Pass, with possible map‑based elements later in the season.
