Fortnite expands multiverse with Kingdom Hearts and Digger collaborations

Fortnite continues its expansion into a video game multiverse through several new collaborations. The Kingdom Hearts franchise has officially joined the game, introducing the protagonist Sora as a playable skin along with his signature Keyblade weapon. While Sora is the confirmed addition, teasers featuring dialogue from characters such as Roxas, Kairi, and Riku suggest further potential expansions for the franchise within the game's Item Shop.

Additionally, the game has integrated elements from Tom Cruise’s upcoming film, Digger, into two Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) maps: The Pit and Winter Rockets vs Cars. Unlike traditional character skin releases, this collaboration focuses on map integrations, including shovels featuring the Digger logo that players can use to find coins, and animated snippets from the film's trailer.
