Fortuna Düsseldorf appoints club legends Langeneke and Bodzek

Fortuna Düsseldorf has entered a new era following the dismissal of Alexander Ende. The club has appointed Jens Langeneke as head coach, with club legend Adam Bodzek joining him as assistant coach.

Both men hold significant history with the club, having participated in multiple promotions. Langeneke previously led the team to the 2. Bundesliga in 2009 and the Bundesliga in 2012 as a defender, while Bodzek was part of the 2018 promotion squad.

Currently sitting in 10th place in the 3. Liga, the team is six points behind the second promotion spot. Langeneke emphasized that while the league is a marathon, the focus is on converting the squad's potential into points. His coaching debut is scheduled for the upcoming match against Rostock.
