Fortuna Düsseldorf loans Andreas Müller from Karlsruher SC

Fortuna Düsseldorf has completed the loan signing of 26-year-old defensive midfielder Andreas Müller from Karlsruher SC. The move is intended to bolster the team's central midfield with more stability and structure.

Sporting Director Samir Arabi described Müller as a “playful number six” (spielstarken Sechser) who possesses both technical ability on the ball and the necessary aggression and tackling strength in defensive situations. Müller brings extensive experience across three German professional leagues, including 11 Bundesliga appearances, 74 matches in the 2. Bundesliga, and 69 appearances in the 3. Liga.

Müller, who previously played for TSG Hoffenheim, 1. FC Magdeburg, and Darmstadt, stated that the decision to join Düsseldorf was easy because the club's tactical approach aligns well with his skill set. He expressed a desire to help the club return to its rightful standing.
