Fortuna faces rising injury concerns in defense

Fortuna is experiencing an increasing number of injuries within its defensive line. During a recent match against Córdoba, Pablo Gavián was forced to leave the pitch in the 68th minute after experiencing pain in his right knee. Unlike teammate Óscar Marcos, who suffered a scare in the same area but remained mobile, Gavián required medical and physiotherapy assistance to exit the field as he could not put weight on his leg.

Other players currently sidelined or dealing with injuries include Alexis Olmedo, Anxo Rodríguez, and Hugo Cuenca, who is managing adductor discomfort. In the attacking line, Bernard Somuah remains out following an ankle injury sustained in September.
