Forum Jämställdhet 2027 to be held in Västerås

Forum Jämställdhet will celebrate its tenth anniversary on February 3–4, 2027, in Västerås, Sweden. As the country’s largest gender equality conference, the event will host executives, elected officials, and experts from both the public and private sectors to discuss future challenges, reforms, and solutions in equality work.

The program features various speakers and seminars. Cognitive neuroscientist Sissela Nutley will participate in a seminar regarding how digital life and social media affect the mental health and self-image of boys and girls differently. Additionally, Jonas Trolle, Director General of the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), will discuss the differing roles of genders in gang environments and how to address new recruitment patterns.
