Forum Servicios Financieros modifies US$150 million syndicated loan

The law firm Carey has advised Forum Servicios Financieros on the modification and restructuring of a US$150 million syndicated loan. The transaction, which involved jurisdictions in Chile and New York, included an extension of the maturity date and the renegotiation of financial conditions to secure more favorable terms for the company.

The operation also involved a reconfiguration of the creditor syndicate. This process included the exit of certain financial entities and the incorporation of new banks, thereby expanding the company's creditor base. Standard Chartered Bank served as the administrative agent for the transaction.
