Forum Wissen Recaps 2025 Highlights Including Quantum Exhibition in Göttingen

Forum Wissen closed its 2025 program with a review of major events and initiatives. On 26 March the institution opened the special exhibition “Was zum Quant?!” in Göttingen to mark the United Nations International Quantum Year 2025, presenting more than a century of quantum physics through interactive stations, experiments, lectures and a city‑wide rally.

In April a creator weekend brought together eight creators, including YouTubers Sebastian Voltmer, Bieso and cultural blogger Frau Vogel, to explore new ways of communicating the exhibition. Since June, a free‑space vitrine in the university’s base exhibition has displayed new acquisitions from the art collection, featuring works by Günther Uecker, Timm Ulrichs and F. W. Bernstein. The year also saw three salon debates on self‑determination, quantum computers and the role of science in politics, as well as the launch of the “Gemeinsamer Nenner” series to foster interdisciplinary dialogue.
