Forza Horizon 6 announces 7-Eleven collab and Drift Attack mode

Playground Games has announced several updates for Forza Horizon 6. A major collaboration with 7-Eleven is scheduled for October, featuring an “Evolving World and EventLab Content Pack” that will introduce the convenience store chain into the game's Japanese setting.

Additionally, a new competitive drifting mode called “Drift Attack” will arrive with the September 7 update. This mode allows players to access the Shimanoyama Circuit directly from the open world to compete for high drift scores using clipping zones.

Regarding platform availability, reports from industry insiders suggest that the previously anticipated PlayStation 5 release window for 2026 may have been delayed. While Microsoft has not officially changed its multiplatform release schedule, rumors indicate the port may not arrive until 2027, potentially due to shifting strategic focuses and the upcoming release of GTA 6.
