Forza Horizon 6 to launch on PlayStation 5 in January 2027

Playground Games and Microsoft have officially confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26, 2027. This release follows the game's initial debut on Xbox and PC in May 2026. The port, developed in partnership with Panic Button, will feature cross-play, cross-progression, and access to user-generated content across all platforms.

Setting the game in Japan, the title features an expansive open world including Tokyo and various rural and industrial landscapes. The game includes over 550 vehicles. The PlayStation 5 version will offer both a 4K/30FPS Quality Mode and a 60FPS Performance Mode. A physical disc version is also expected to be available at launch.

Alongside the main game, the first Premium Expansion will be released on January 21, 2027. Players who purchase the Premium Edition will receive five days of early access, allowing them to play starting on the expansion's release date. Pre-orders are currently open on the PlayStation Store, with various editions including Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. Pre-order bonuses include a pre-tuned Ferrari J50.
