Forza Horizon 6 receives new content updates and PS5 release uncertainty
Forza Horizon 6, released on May 19, 2026, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, is receiving several content updates. Playground Games announced that the new Drift Attack mode will launch on September 7, 2026, featuring the Shimanoyama Circuit. This will be followed by British Automotive themed weeks starting September 10, and a collaboration with 7-Eleven in October.
There is ongoing uncertainty regarding the game's release on PlayStation 5. While official Xbox communications previously suggested a release later in 2026, journalist Tom Warren reports that the port may be delayed beyond 2026. Despite the official website still listing a 2026 window, no specific release date or pre-order information has been provided for the Sony console.
