Forza Italia delegation meets Forlì mayor to discuss local development

A delegation from Forza Italia, led by deputy Rosaria Tassinari, met with Forlì Mayor Gian Luca Zattini to discuss local challenges including urban safety, competitiveness, and territorial development. Tassinari highlighted government commitments to infrastructure, specifically the modernization of the SS 67 ‘Tosco-Romagnola’ and the SS ‘Tiberina’, as well as the Forlì-Cesena fast connection and the Ravegnana variant.

In addition to infrastructure, Tassinari addressed student rights, advocating for stable state resources for the right to study to combat the rising cost of living. She noted that resources for these initiatives have increased to over 845 million euros.

Simultaneously, political tensions have risen regarding healthcare waiting lists in the Forlì area. Following a campaign by Tassinari to collect citizen testimonies regarding long delays for medical exams, Alice Buonguerrieri of Fratelli d’Italia criticized regional Democratic Party (PD) Councilor Valentina Ancarani. Buonguerrieri argued that the national government has increased the healthcare fund and expanded service hours, placing responsibility for local management on the regional government. Ancarani countered by stating that the central government must provide necessary resources to meet the growing health demands caused by an aging population.
