Forza Italia seals federation pact with Generazione Azzurra in Palermo

Forza Italia and the civic movement Generazione Palermo, now renamed Generazione Azzurra – Palermo, signed a federation agreement in Palermo on 28 July 2026. The pact was witnessed by Regional President Renato Schifani and Forza Italia’s national coordinator Nino Minardo, who said the deal strengthens the party’s presence on the city council and across the municipality ahead of upcoming local elections. Leaders of the civic group, city councillors Domenico Bonanno and Viviana Raja, expressed that joining Forza Italia will allow them to continue serving citizens and build strong, locally rooted electoral lists.

The agreement also brings together local administrators, professionals, entrepreneurs and association representatives under the new Generazione Azzurra banner, aiming to aggregate moderate civic participation and reinforce the centre‑right coalition in Sicily.
