Forza Italia warns of Alghero-Linate flight route instability

Members of the Forza Italia party, including regional secretary Pittalis and national councilor Tedde, have raised concerns regarding the sustainability of the Alghero-Linate flight route. They warned that the current regional tender parameters may be unsustainable for airlines, potentially leading to a failed bidding process or the interruption of essential connections.

The warnings follow reports from major operators: Aeroitalia has reduced flight frequencies due to insufficient demand during certain time slots, while ITA Airways CEO Eberhart highlighted that rising jet fuel costs pose a significant financial burden. Forza Italia is calling on regional President Todde and Councilor Manca to intervene before the October 5 deadline to review the tender's capacity and frequency requirements to ensure they align with market realities.
