FOSPIBAY invests over S/ 666,000 in Sechura early stimulation center

FOSPIBAY has allocated more than S/ 666,000 for the renovation of the ‘Semillitas de Oro’ Early Stimulation Room in the Rinconada Llícuar district, Sechura. The project was funded through the Social Fund of the Bayóvar Integral Project, utilizing resources from mining royalties.

The renovation includes the construction and equipping of a multi-purpose area, restrooms for children and adults, a kitchen, patios, sidewalks, and a perimeter fence. The facility also features a water system with a cistern, elevated tank, and pumping system, alongside specialized furniture for psychomotricity activities.

Carmen Morales, President of the FOSPIBAY Board and Mayor of Sechura, emphasized that education is a primary focus for the Social Fund. The mining company Miski Mayo, a major contributor to the fund, was represented at the inauguration, highlighting the commitment to improving developmental conditions for children aged 0 to 3.
