Fossacesia opposition disputes decision on Costa Teatina Park

Giuseppe Ursini, leader of the Impegno Comune group in Fossacesia, has clarified his position regarding the management of the Parco della Costa Teatina. Ursini stated that the decision by the municipal executive (Giunta) to approve safeguard measures to be sent to the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) was not shared with him or the opposition.

Ursini explained that while he attended an informal meeting with technical staff to discuss technical observations, he did not agree to the decision to proceed via the Giunta rather than convening an emergency City Council meeting. He noted that while he does not contest the majority's right to make such a choice, he disputes any suggestion that the opposition supported the method used. Ursini emphasized the need for transparent and serious dialogue regarding the park's future.
