Fossacesia to reorganize markets and support street vendors

The municipal administration of Fossacesia has announced plans to reorganize and relaunch the local market system. The initiative aims to support street vendors and enhance the territory by aligning with new national regulations regarding public area concessions.

Mayor Enrico Di Giuseppantonio will convene local officials and department heads to begin this process. The reorganization will cover various commercial activities, including the weekly Friday market, summer commercial presence on the coast, and various fairs and public events throughout the territory. The goal is to create a more functional and attractive system for both citizens and operators.

The plan must comply with new guidelines for public area commerce concessions issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. These guidelines establish criteria for municipal tenders regarding the reassignment of expiring stalls and the allocation of vacant ones, including rules on concession duration, evaluation criteria, and concentration limits.
