Foteini Petrogianni responds to body shaming comments

Greek journalist Foteini Petrogianni, known for her work on ANT1’s ‘To Proino’, has publicly responded to offensive social media comments regarding her physical appearance and weight.

After receiving a derogatory message on Instagram that compared her to a wild boar and commented on her weight, Petrogianni chose to share the comment on her Instagram Story. Rather than reacting with anger, she utilized sarcasm to address the user, stating, “My friend, I will lose weight, yes. Let’s both be ready for Fashion Week in Milan. You, being more experienced, will guide me.”

The incident has reignited discussions regarding body shaming and the harassment public figures face on social media. Petrogianni has previously spoken about her body changes following pregnancy and childbirth.
