Journalist Foteini Petrogianni has shared a deeply personal reflection following her return to the island of Tinos after a 13-month absence. Accompanied by her son, Dimitris Mario, her visit to the Cycladic island evoked both joyful family milestones and painful memories of her late father.

Petrogianni noted that Tinos holds significant emotional weight, having been introduced to the island through her partner, Michalis, and serving as the location for her son's baptism. However, her return also brought back memories of a previous family trip that preceded a period of intense personal hardship. She recalled the last time she saw her father standing, noting that shortly after their return from Tinos during that period, he faced a severe health crisis that led to a difficult time of hospitalization and loss.
