Foteini Petrogianni threatens legal action against Dimitris Papanotas

Journalist Foteini Petrogianni has announced intentions to pursue legal action against Dimitris Papanotas following a confrontation on the television program ‘To Proino’. The dispute arose after Papanotas made remarks questioning the professional competence of a female panelist, describing her as ‘dangerously irrelevant’ and making insinuations regarding how she entered the television industry.

Although Papanotas did not explicitly name her, Petrogianni identified the comments as directed at her. She characterized his statements as ‘slander’ rather than mere opinion and stated that he would be called to provide legal explanations. Petrogianni further alleged that Papanotas had previously contacted individuals in her professional circle to influence them regarding other matters.
