Foteino Asteri organizes solidarity initiative in Patras

The charitable organization Foteino Asteri, in collaboration with Kouzina Agapis, successfully completed the solidarity initiative ‘1 Table for All’ in Patras. Held on October 17, 2026, to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, the event aimed to provide practical support to local families facing severe socioeconomic difficulties.

The initiative saw significant community involvement, with 47 contributors including 29 citizens, 10 businesses, 5 catering establishments, and 3 local organizations. A total of 56 families received full, warm meals and additional food items.

In total, the drive distributed 432 food portions, consisting of 272 main courses, 88 desserts, 37 bags of bread, and 35 salads. Other distributed items included 176 soft drinks, 30 bags of fresh fruit, 60 fruit yogurts, and 10 bags of biscuits and sweets for children.
