Fotis Ioannidis returns to Greece for national team duties

Footballer Fotis Ioannidis and presenter Eleni Voulgaraki have made a brief return to Greece. Ioannidis, a 26-year-old striker for Sporting Lisbon, traveled from Portugal to join the Greece national team for their UEFA Nations League commitments.

Having overcome recent injury issues, Ioannidis is considered a key player for the national team under coach Ivan Jovanović. Voulgaraki, who has been residing in Lisbon since early 2026 to support Ioannidis, accompanied him during the visit and attended social events in Athens, including an invitation from a French perfume house.
