Fotografia Calabria Festival Award opens 2026 applications

The fifth edition of the Fotografia Calabria Festival Award 2026 has officially opened its call for applications. Organized by the Associazione culturale Pensiero Paesaggio, the competition focuses on contemporary photography.

In a significant change for this edition, organizers have removed any pre-established theme, allowing participants full creative freedom. The award seeks to support photographic research rather than just providing financial recognition. The evaluation will prioritize project solidity, narrative coherence, and a recognizable authorial vision.

The prize includes 2,000 euros and a paid publication valued at 1,000 euros in Internazionale. Candidates may submit a single work consisting of 10 to 25 photographs, using either digital or analog techniques. Applications are open until November 15, 2026.
