Foton and Dongfeng expand mobility offerings in Colombia and Mexico

Foton and Dongfeng are expanding their presence in the Latin American automotive market by showcasing diverse mobility solutions ranging from diesel and hybrid to 100% electric vehicles.

In Colombia, Corautos Andino is presenting new technologies at major industry conventions such as ASOTRANS and EXPO TP 2026. Their offerings include the Araña Diesel MS chassis, which features Cummins engines and electromagnetic retarder technology designed to reduce brake wear and maintenance costs. The company is targeting urban, tourist, and special transport sectors with platforms adapted to local topography.

In Mexico, Foton showcased a wide portfolio at Expo Auto Guadalajara 2026, featuring nine vehicles including the Tunland V9 MHEV, Tunland G7 EV, and various passenger and commercial models. The brand's strategy focuses on addressing the current market transition by providing efficient combustion engines, hybrid alternatives, and fully electric solutions for both individual users and commercial enterprises.
