Foton Cavendish V7 electric van launched for professional transport

Foton has introduced the Cavendish V7, an electric van designed for professional transport and sustainable mobility. Positioned as an alternative to traditional diesel buses, the vehicle is intended for various commercial uses, including airport transfers, hotel shuttles, tourism, and corporate travel.

The van is available in 7 or 9-seat configurations and features an interior designed to combine the comfort of a modern MPV with the capacity of a traditional minibus. To facilitate passenger movement, the vehicle includes a low floor height and sliding doors on both sides.

Technical specifications include a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with capacities up to 100 kWh, providing a range of approximately 536 km under optimal conditions. A smaller 83 kWh battery option offers a range of about 446 km. The vehicle also incorporates intelligent control systems to allow operators to monitor battery status, remaining range, and charging point availability.
