Fougères solidarity baskets program resumes for students

The association Fougères solidarité has launched its solidarity basket program for students in Fougères for the fourth consecutive year. The initiative, managed by a social grocery store, provides food assistance to post-baccalaureate students in the Fougères region.

Beneficiaries can access the baskets every two weeks by paying a 2€ fee. The baskets consist of a base of dry goods, with the option to select fruits, vegetables, and fresh or frozen products. To qualify, students must provide proof of enrollment and a sworn statement confirming they have no maintained salary. In 2025, the program supported 62 students, many of whom were from the IFPS in Javené.
