Fougères swimming pool history: the 1988 aquaboggan

In the summer of 1988, the former swimming pool in Fougères, Ille-et-Vilaine, introduced a 56-meter long aquaboggan. The new attraction, which featured a wide tube leading into a small pool, saw significant popularity among both children and adults.

In addition to the slide, a sauna was opened at the facility in April of the same year. The former swimming pool on Rue de Laval has since been converted into a fitness center, while local residents now use the Aquatis facility for similar attractions.
