Four arrested in execution of emergency responder Marco Pusceddu

Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the premeditated murder of Marco Pusceddu, a 50-year-old emergency medical volunteer. The incident occurred on August 7, 2025, at the Intervol association headquarters in Buddusò, Sassari.

Carabinieri investigators have reconstructed the event as a targeted execution. According to the investigation, two masterminds orchestrated the killing due to personal disputes involving both professional and romantic motives. They allegedly hired two executors to carry out the crime for a payment of approximately 15,000 euros.

The perpetrator reportedly approached the association headquarters, identified the victim by name, and shot him at close range. The investigation utilized telephone interceptions, surveillance footage, and forensic analysis to track the vehicle used by the suspects. The arrested individuals face charges of premeditated murder and illegal possession of weapons.
