Four Brazilian dancers selected for Prix de Lausanne 2027

Four students from the Basileu França School of the Future of Goiás in Arts, located in Goiânia, have been selected to participate in the Prix de Lausanne 2027. The international ballet competition will take place in Switzerland from January 31 to February 7.

The selected dancers, aged between 15 and 17, are Arthur Henrique da Silva Bueno, Carlos Eduardo Araújo, Pablo de Paula Ribeiro, and Vinícius Nunes Sousa. They are part of a larger group of seven Brazilians chosen for the event. The selection process involved a rigorous evaluation by nine dance professionals who reviewed recordings from 412 candidates representing 36 countries.

The Prix de Lausanne serves as a significant platform for young dancers in training, offering scholarships and opportunities to connect with international companies and schools. For the participants, the competition represents a potential gateway to professional careers in the global dance community.
